George White’s career has been focused on working with stakeholders in the infrastructure and construction industries to bring technology to the forefront in their operations. During his tenure at HeadLight, he has managed diverse teams and overseen numerous technology projects for customers ranging from Fortune 500 organizations to the federal government. George is recognized as an innovator in the transportation construction industry and provides over 10 years of management experience and more than 15 years of industry knowledge and connections to the company. He was responsible for the development of the Hot Mix Database, a web-based tool used to track and monitor asphalt road construction projects that received the TRB K.B. Woods Award, a top award for construction innovations, and Pavement Interactive, the world’s largest online resource for all things pavement. George currently serves on an industry-leading technical steering committee alongside members of state and federal government, private sector, and academia. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.

As Co-Founder and President of HeadLight, Si’s focus is the growth of HeadLight’s business across all market sizes, segments, and critical geographies. Under his leadership, the company has quadrupled its market share over the last 3 years for its visual-based inspection technology that has been used on over $20 billion worth of infrastructure construction projects nationwide.

Si brings 19 years of leadership, technical expertise, and construction technology experience to the organization and has an exceptional track record for delivering large-scale software systems on-time and on-budget for infrastructure construction reliably throughout his career.

Si gained project enterprise software experience with Andiamo Systems, Cisco Systems, and Real Networks, companies whose primary function is content delivery via the web and network infrastructure, after earning a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Washington. He is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program offered through Babson College.

Steven Velozo has extensive experience in data research, application architecture, and software engineering. As Chief Architect at Promethean, Inc., a publicly traded company, he managed a diverse software development team spread across two continents. Steven has founded several successful companies delivering groundbreaking data analytics applications. Holding six patents ranging from large data processing environments through augmented reality machine learning systems, he brings two decades of senior leadership experience blended with a diverse and current software engineering skill set.

As Vice President Marketing Patti Brooke is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of efforts across multiple channels that drive client acquisition, retention, expansion and renewal. She brings key experience in developing sales enablement programs and is an expert in building, developing and leading teams that drive cross-functional initiatives across organizations, with an eye towards growth.

Patti was previously the Director of Innovation for Premera Blue Cross, where she led efforts to position the company as a national leader in health care innovation through new technologies and partnerships. Prior to that, she spent more than three years as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Proton Therapy Center, where she led all marketing and business development activities that increased awareness of proton therapy in cancer treatment. Patti’s background also includes time in Governor Gregoire’s administration as an Assistant Director in the Washington State Department of Commerce where she managed trade missions, oversaw statewide economic development grants and the Office of Tourism.

Tom Staples has been leading sales and business development teams at high growth software and renewable energy companies for the last 20 years. Prior to joining HeadLight, Tom was the VP of Sales at Omnidian, a fast growing solar O&M technology company, where he focused on building out a team and client base nationwide.

Prior to Omnidian Tom led the sales and business development teams at Clean Power Research, a software company helping utilities and solar companies integrate more renewable energy assets onto the grid. Tom also co-founded his own company in the solar technology sector, Cooler Planet, which he led from its inception to successful acquisition.

Chad Robins is the co-founder and CEO of Adaptive Biotechnologies, a commercial-stage biotech company that aims to translate the genetics of the adaptive immune system into diagnostics and therapeutics to improve patients’ lives. Prior to co-founding Adaptive, Chad held numerous executive-level positions in medical technology, investment and real estate companies. Chad holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Managerial Economics from Cornell University.

Dr. Joe Mahoney has worked in designing, constructing, and maintaining heavy infrastructure for over 40 years. He teaches undergraduate- and graduate-level courses on a range of subjects, including construction materials, pavement and airport design, construction-oriented statistical applications, and energy infrastructure. Joe is currently the Director of the Transportation and Construction Program and co-Director of the Distance Learning Masters of Construction Engineering. He is also an International Fellow at CSIR—Pretoria, South Africa, and serves on various national committees mostly associated with the Transportation Research Board.

As the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications for Convoy, Ryan is working to transform the $800 billion US trucking industry through a fast-growing Digital Freight Network that is taking significant amounts of waste and inefficiency out of trucking while providing higher earnings for drivers, lower costs for shippers, with higher satisfaction rates amongst both parties.

Previously Ryan served as Amazon Web Services (AWS) General Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Ryan focused on solving some of the toughest challenges that hold back machine learning from being in the hands of every developer. In his role, Ryan oversaw the marketing and strategy for the broadest and deepest set of machine learning and AI services in the industry and helped establish AWS and services like Amazon SageMaker as the industry leader for machine learning.

The hallmarks of his 20-year career include shaping Microsoft’s multibillion-dollar Surface commercial strategy and leading that business to double-digit growth, as well as bringing the world’s #2 search engine, Bing, to profitability with over 5 billion monthly searches. Ryan has had the opportunity to lead across a broad set of business, technology, and marketing challenges including responsibility for Microsoft’s consumer services portfolio with 600 million+ customers and revenues in excess of $3 billion.

Ryan attended Seattle Pacific University, where he received his bachelor of arts in business administration and management. He and his wife, Sarah Gavin, are the proud parents of four children who occupy them most days, weekends, and nights.

Before joining Pamlico Capital in 2018, Orth was Chief Operating Officer of Viewpoint, a Portland-based construction software firm leading the transformation of the industry with integrated construction accounting and project management solutions. Orth led over 350 employees worldwide, held over $125m of revenue responsibility and was instrumental in driving a 20% YoY increase in recurring revenue. Orth worked closely with Bain Capital, owners of Viewpoint, consummating in an acquisition by Trimble in July 2018 for $1.2B.

Prior to Viewpoint, Orth was CEO of Dexter + Chaney, a Seattle based construction software firm (acquired by Viewpoint in 2017), where he successfully led the company through a period of rapid growth. Orth transitioned the firm to SaaS while rebuilding the executive team and implementing a winning sales & marketing playbook that leveraged a hybrid direct/indirect model. During Orth’s time with Dexter + Chaney the company more than doubled revenues while driving best-in-class retention rates, CSAT and nearly 30% EBITDA.

Prior to Dexter + Chaney, Orth held a variety of executive leadership roles to include CEO of venture-backed MessageGate, VP Sales at WRQ (acquired by Francisco Partners, Golden Gate Capital and Thoma Bravo, merged with Attachmate) and Regional Director at Procter & Gamble.

Orth serves as a board member and mentor for several software companies and is involved in numerous philanthropic organizations.

Orth holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington, Foster School of Business.
